Production Engineer
Mission
The Production Engineer ensures the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve performance, quality, and productivity. They analyze production indicators, implement continuous improvement actions, and ensure compliance with technical and safety standards. They work closely with operational teams to guarantee the achievement of industrial objectives.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability of production organization and processes
- Study production processes in depth across the entire value chain
- Optimize production processes to ensure productivity and data quality at each production stage
- Transmit all visual process definition materials to each relevant stakeholder and support them in implementing and monitoring these processes
- Increase production yields and optimize consumption
- Monitor each operator's output rate according to a predefined analysis program
- Implement a data recording and comparative analysis system
- Analyze operations to detect lost time
- Find innovative solutions to save time
- Find innovative solutions to save consumable materials
- Work in close collaboration with team leaders and department heads who remain primarily responsible for their teams
- Prepare activity reports: establish daily reports on analyses performed and corrective actions implemented
- Implement tools to ensure corrective actions are followed long-term; participate in setting up productivity tracking tools
- Spread and instill the MINIMAD company spirit deeply within production teams; understand the MINIMAD company spirit through continuous presence in the field with teams, serving as an additional link between operators and management
- Dare to make constructive remarks to teams to help them improve
- Escalate behaviors (positive and negative) to the production management
Requirements
- Master's level (Bac+5) in general engineering, production, process & methods, or logistics
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a production factory (ideally a French company)
- Proactive with attention to detail
- Organized, methodical, reactive, and rigorous in collecting and processing field data, with strong analytical capabilities for production systems
- Capable of managing resources and priorities according to objectives
- Strong written and oral communication skills with interpersonal ease enabling team management
- Quick adaptation and learning ability
- Strict; fluent in French
